Pineywoods Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to: promoting humane care and treatment for animals in the area served by the society seeking to return lost animals to their owners; seeking suitable homes for homeless dogs; influencing public opinion with regard to care, treatment, and welfare of animals; educating the public in animal welfare; and promoting spay/neuter programs as a method of animal population control.
PAWS has a committed team of directors and volunteers who are passionate about animal rescue. We desire to share that passion with the public by encouraging the adoption of rescued animals, and by providing the resources necessary to ensure that each adoption can be a successful, lasting relationship between dog and family.
